knitted/crocheted plastic bag seating

'the Uk grocery industry uses enough carrier bags to carpet the entire planet twice a year.'

these were all constructed from knitted or crocheted, used plastic bags. pic.1 'plastic bag pouf' is designed as a cover, for the user to fill with plastic bags, encouraging interactive recycling.

pop - up children's play mats

this was designed to encouraging interactive and constructional play for children, to create large hiding & play spaces, with a space saving solution.

Child's multifunctional and interactive chair

the design of this chair is made up from a basic plywood box, with holes in the two sides for lacing the seat between. there are multiple choices for the posistion of the seat to be laced to, stool, up-right & relaxed. the user must chose their own material to be laced through, and the seat posision they require. in this picture the seat has been laced with stips of plastic bags!

3d pop-out wallpaper

this wallpaper has been designed for children to create decorative 3d paper forms, which can be used as light shades or storage. the shapes are made from perferated 2d shapes cut into the wallpaper, which can be peeled out to reveal decorative shapes and patterns in the wallpaper.
